The rapper Common has revealed in his new memoir that he recently had the resurgence of a repressed memory where he was abused as a child. He wrote, “maybe it’s a matter of survival — even now, two years after that flash resurgence of memories, as I’m writing, I’m still working through all of this in myself and with my therapist”. He has said that he hopes that by sharing the abuse he suffered he can possibly help others, “I really believe that, in telling my story, other people will be OK with talking about that situation”.

It may seem like a questionable call to cast him until you see another member of the cast is Tara Reid who recently was in the Sharknado movies and said that she thought that a Sharknado could actually happen “the chances of it happening are very rare…. but it can actually happen.”

RIP to Hussle

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in Los Angeles in front of his store in gunfire that wounded two others as well. Only hours after posting a tweet that is obviously linked to his murder in some way and may be related to his past ties with the Crips. It seems like the life he had tried to leave behind caught up with him. When his fame grew he began purchasing real estate and re-investing in his old neighborhood including the strip mall in which he was killed. He was 33 and is survived by his two small children and partner.

Last week was the week where R. Kelly’s spin team tries to change the narrative and somehow dodge any sort of impact on his business or his sex cult for underage girls. Lucky for him he still has other musicians defending him like French Montana saying “Let somebody enjoy their legacy. Whatever happened, happened, man.” which is an insane take on the matter. French doesn’t seem to care about the crimes Kelly committed and is worried about how much Kelly is “enjoying” himself. Of course this dipshit was forced to apologize for his comments by his manager, but it’s pretty clear how he feels. Other defenders of R. Kelly took to Facebook in an attempt to “expose” his accusers by harassing them and defaming them on Facebook in a move so aggressive even Facebook shut down the page. It also surfaced that the bomb threat that was made to the premiere of the documentary came from one of Kelly’s business partners. The police visited Kelly’s condo in, where else but Trump Tower, after reports of two women being held against their will, but the police weren’t able to prove any wrongdoing when they got there. And Kelly’s ex-manager has an arrest warrant for threatening the family of one of Kelly’s victims “I’m going to do harm to you and your family”. You may wonder why I keep writing about this every week, but since all this has been in the news Kelly’s streaming numbers are UP 15%, so I think it is important to detail out all the disgusting things he has done, until people are sick of R. Kelly for good.

Surviving R. Kelly

I’ve written on here more than a few times what a scumbag R. Kelly is, a new documentary is out detailing the methods of his abuse and his history of preying on underage girls. The specifics in it are horrifying, he met one of his victims at his trial for sexually abusing a young girl on tape. He would later invite this fan to begin staying at his house when she was 16, when she told him that she had been abused as a child he used that as an opening to begin abusing her himself. He would later use her to find other girls at his shows to bring into his disgusting cult. He would isolate and completely control the girls when they were at his house, punishing them by starving them when they disagreed with him, sometimes up to three days without food. R. Kelly is barely literate and uses a network of enablers to conduct his operation of bribing and paying off the families of his victims as well as helping him acquire new victims. Included in his network of enablers is the music industry itself, John Legend was the only artist who agreed to be in the documentary.

Kelly has said that he hasn’t watched the new documentary but plans to “Sue Everybody”.
