Mac Miller - 2009
It’s sad that this is the last time Mac Miller will be on this list as it felt like his album on his album Swimming he was really coming into his own from a writing and singing perspective. 2009 certainly feels like a simpler time.

Cardi B - Invasion of Privacy
No one had a bigger year or better album than Cardi B. Storming onto the scene with songs as vibrant as her personality she really shined. The most surprising thing about this album is the lack of filler. You expected the hits, but this album has no duds that you have to skip which is different than her husband’s albums.
